World Diabetes Day, jointly initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in 1991, is a global awareness campaign. Statistics indicate that one in every ten people worldwide is affected by diabetes, and every five seconds, one person dies from the disease.

China is a nation with a significant number of young diabetics, and the patient demographic is increasingly youthful. Diabetes not only impacts the quality of life for those affected but also raises their risk of developing complications such as heart disease, kidney disease, and retinal disorders. It is imperative that we cultivate healthy lifestyle and dietary habits, undergo regular health check-ups, and avoid becoming the next victim of diabetes.
